In her day job she blogs about very unsexy transportation issues in her role as communications director of a same day courier company and social media marketing. Hi Sarah
    What a great idea for a post, and that is my first suggestion, read good bloggers… and steal their ideas.
    Start with Sarah and Danny, two fabulous bloggers.

    I’d also add don’t be afraid to leave comments.
    It can appear that all the other people commenting know each other and you are the “new boy”.
    Forget that… jump in, make a contribution and start to make friends with other bloggers.
    Hard at first, but it gets easier.

    That’s me done.

       @wmwebdes You are such a charmer Keith, but thank you.
      Wise words about the commenting. It can seem like an exclusive club at times, but take a deep breath a join in, it’s how you get to know people and like you say, make friends

         @SarahArrow
         Yes… I can remember jumping in and feeling aprehensive.
        Just like parties, sit in the kitchen or get in there and have a good time.

    Know that it takes time to build an audience—but never underestimate the impact you can have, even if only a few are reading in the early days.Also, emulate the habits of successful bloggers but never their voice. There’s only one you in all the universe, and we need what you have to say and in the way you say it!

       @Mary C. Weaver, CSCS  “ There’s only one you in all the universe, and we need what you have to say and in the way you say it!” – thank you Mary, I love that quote :)

    This was an awesome idea for a post. It is very refreshing to come to a blog and find something that is totally new. Loving it. You have my creative juices flowing now. Must think of great posts :]

    Interesting way to represent an idea. We just posted something similar albeit in sketch (rough) form to express an idea about a topic. Nothing new considering Tumblr but fun to try.
