Happy First Birthday and Thank You!

Yesterday, October 4, saw For Bloggers By Bloggers turn one year old.

Yep, we’re out of our little onesies now and using full-on toddler training shoes!

It’s been a great first year for us, and has been both humbling and amazing to see how you’ve taken to us and made us part of your blogging diet.

For that, we’re all incredibly grateful!

When we first started this blog 12 months ago, we had one simple goal – to live up to the name For Bloggers By Bloggers, and provide the kind of useful content and resources that we as fellow bloggers would want to read.

Thankfully, it seems we’re achieving these goals – in the 12 months since we launched, we’ve reached:

• Over 1,200 subscribers (Feedburner)
• 18,000+ unique monthly visitors (Google Analytics)
• 26,000+ monthly page views (Google Analytics)
• More than 1/3 of our traffic comes from search engines (Google Analytics)
• 62,216 traffic rank, placing us in top 100,00 sites in the world (Alexa)
• Top 50 Social Media Blog of 2011 (EvanCarmichael.com)

These numbers make us incredibly proud, since you never quite know if you’re going to be “accepted” or not, especially since there are so many great blogging resource sites out there already.

So, on behalf of the whole team here at For Bloggers By Bloggers, from our regular authors to our awesome contributors, I’d like to say a HUGE thank-you for continuing to support us, and for making this a little place on the web that bloggers seem to want to come to. We’d be nothing without you, our readers, subscribers and commenters.

I’d also personally like to thank the great team behind For Bloggers By Bloggers – you’ve all made this site happen, and I’m honoured to work alongside you.
